Magistrate Maria L. McBride
Maria L. McBride graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a concentration in Accounting and Marketing, from Xavier University with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Taxation, and from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School (JD). Magistrate McBride is admitted to practice law in State and Federal Courts in Ohio and Kentucky and has practiced extensively in these courts. Prior to becoming a Magistrate for the Butler County Probate Court, Magistrate McBride served as a Magistrate for the Butler County Domestic Relations Court. She also previously operated a general practice, though she concentrated in the areas of bankruptcy, family law, probate law, corporate and tax law. She also served as a supervisor of the Volunteer Lawyers Program with Pro Seniors, Inc., a non-profit organization providing legal advice to seniors on limited incomes. Magistrate McBride also taught individual taxation courses to paralegal students and evening college students at the University of Cincinnati. Magistrate McBride volunteers her time and services to several non-profit organizations where she serves as Legal Advisor and as a Board Member for these organizations.
