Magistrate Bradley M. Swillinger
Brad Swillinger joined the Probate Court in June 2021. Brad Swillinger was admitted to the practice of law in Ohio (2001), having earned a Juris Doctorate the same year from the University of Toledo (OH) College of Law. Brad Swillinger earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Furman University (1998). Originally from northern Cincinnati, Brad graduated from Walnut Hills High School (1994).
Prior to his appointment as Magistrate, Brad maintained a general practice of law since 2001. Brad served as Guardian Ad Litem in various Courts of Southwest Ohio for the Juvenile, Domestic Relations, and Probate divisions since 2005. Additionally, over the course of his career, Brad has served as Fiduciary for a wide range of matters.
Magistrate Swillinger was fortunate and gracious of the opportunity to practice law with his father (Steven R. Swillinger) during the majority of his career. Practicing law with his father instilled in Brad the importance of objectivity, preparation, respect, and civility in his interactions before the judiciary, court personnel, attorneys and clients. Magistrate Swillinger has resided in Butler County since 2007 with his Wife Courtney and their three children. Brad is an avid fan of baseball and enjoys skiing, real estate, family musical theatre, and anything history.
